How to see the Energy Band Diagram with Paraview?

Hi, I’d like to know the way to see the Energy Band Diagram with Paraview,
so I surfed it, and I learned about the slice function and Line Chart View.
And I tried to check Potential, but it showed just straight line.
So what shold I do to see the Energy Band or Potential chart with Paraview???

What file format are you exporting? I have more experience using the tecplot format with the VisIt visualization software. Please alternate between tecplot or vtk format to see if that helps.
